Why Travel to Europe This Summer?
As someone who loves a good expedition, I feel the world is enormous enough to explore every place in one’s lifetime. With so many options, we wonder why you should put Europe on your summer travel list.
Trust me.
You don’t want to miss out on the incredible things happening there this time of year.
First, let’s discuss the seasonal highlights. Summer in Europe is a unique opportunity for parties that never stop!
With so many incredible festivals, open-air concerts, and beachside bonfires, you’ll wish you could be in ten places at a time.
Close your eyes and imagine dancing the night away with friends at Tomorrowland in Belgium or being amazed by all the creativity at the Edinburgh Festival. And if you’re into nature, you’ve got to see the lavender fields in Provence when they’re in full bloom – a sea of purple as far as the eye can see!
Oh! And have you heard about the midnight sun in Scandinavia? It’s that time of the year when the sun never fully sets.
This is just so mind-blowing. Can you imagine?
How about the weather? Europe offers a fantastic array of climatic conditions. Greece or Spain tops the list for all sun-seekers. With temperatures up to 32 °C in the hottest months, you can enjoy that Mediterranean warmth throughout the summer. But if you prefer things a bit cooler, the British Isles have a mild climate that is perfect for exploring without breaking a sweat.
If you want to chill out (literally!), the Alps and national parks dotted across Europe are waiting for you. The refreshing mountain air and cold breeze in the summer months are one to reckon with. But be careful out there, though. Temperature can plummet to SUB-ZERO at night, so be well-fitted if that’s your thing.
They consider these weather conditions accessible at the same time of the year. Have you considered experiencing a bit of everything in one go?
That’s the beauty of traveling through Europe in the summer – there’s never a dull moment!
So, what do you say? Let’s make this summer one for the books!
