NomadicClan works with a small number of brands whose gear and services we already use. We test in the field, we disclose every sponsored post, and we keep editorial control.
We are an international family. We climb, hike, camp and road trip with our kids and our dogs, and we have lived and worked in schools across Europe, China, Southeast Asia and Africa. Everything on this site comes from that life.
Who reads NomadicClan
Our readers are parents who want to get outside with their kids, and people building a life abroad. Most of them are in the United States. Others read from Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom and Europe.
They come for four things:
- Family climbing. Our kid-friendly climbing guides cover crags in the US, Europe and Morocco, checked for approach, shade, hazards and bathrooms.
- Road trips with kids and dogs. Real routes we drove, like our Pacific Coast RV road trip.
- International school careers. Practical advice from two decades in international schools, starting with how to become an international school teacher.
- Travel photography. What we shoot with and how, in our photography guides.
What we offer
Gear reviews from real use. When a brand sends us gear, we use it on our own climbs, hikes and trips before we write about it. If it does not work for us, we say so, or we do not publish.
Sponsored stories. A guide or trip report that features your product or place where it fits naturally. Every sponsored post is labeled at the top.
Affiliate partnerships. We work with Amazon Associates, RockPorch stores and GetYourGuide. If your brand runs an affiliate program that fits our readers, we are happy to talk.
Instagram. We share selected stories on Instagram.
What we do not do
- We do not sell links or “dofollow” placements.
- We do not publish sponsored reviews of products we have not used.
- We do not run display ads.
- We do not let partners edit or approve our opinions.
