One of my favorite things about the Peak District is that the crags are ridiculously accessible. Most popular climbing spots have well-maintained footpaths and are a 5-15-minute walk from designated parking areas.

Setting up a base here is easy. Most crag bases have flat ground, grassy patches, and plenty of safe gathering spaces where kids can rest, explore, or snack—bonus points for natural shelters from the elements!
