Who We Are
Emmanuel, a passionate writer, devoted husband, and loving father, narrates our lives and adventures as an integral part of our digital nomad family. Beside him is Ernita, his wife, who infuses every journey with warmth, creativity, and expert travel planning. Their children, Claire and Sebastien, are budding explorers and climbers, always eager to embrace the next adventure together.
What We Love
Our passion for climbing, travel, and culture has led us to explore diverse landscapes across the USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia. From the fairy-tale castles of Germany to Thailand’s limestone cliffs, the swamps of Florida, and the pristine beaches of Indonesia, we’ve embraced every opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture and beauty of each destination. Whether it’s a budget-friendly trip or a luxury splurge, we believe in making the most of every moment.
We spent 18 incredible months living and traveling in our RV, including a memorable period in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where countless climbing adventures unfolded—a rock climbing season in Thailand allowed us to push our limits and create unforgettable memories. Driven by our love for travel and a commitment to exposing our kids to various cultures and languages, we eventually moved back overseas. We aim to provide Claire and Sebastien with a global perspective enriched by diverse experiences and multilingualism.
Our Career
Professionally, Emmanuel and Ernita are lifelong educators who now run a small Education Consulting Firm for International Schools worldwide. We take immense pride in shaping educational experiences and imparting knowledge globally. Our nomadic life allows us to spend extended periods face-to-face with our clients, creating a profound impact.
Family Life on the Move
A nomadic lifestyle as an expat poses challenges, incredibly when parenting Claire and Sebastien, but it is equally enriching. Our blog covers various topics, including road trips, international travel, rock climbing, and tips for fellow digital nomads and expats. Balancing our busy lives, managing our lifestyles, and nurturing our children’s curiosity keeps us on our toes.
